That's when there's the most blow-by, but also when the oil vapors in the PCV air would have the most detrimental effect on the engine.
Also, blow-by in the crankcase from a WOT burst gets cleaned up the next time the throttle closes.
In order to deal with blow by WHILE the engine is at WOT, you'll need an exhaust extractor thingy.
