I'm trying to find out if the Rear Koni's need to be fully compressed to adjust like some of their other Reds or if they can be adjusted assembled.
I don't plan to run a stiff spring but the adjust ability would be nice. I'm looking to adapt a short strut to an MR2 upright/ hub to use in a Lotus Europa. Fiero's have the shortest strut I have found so far.
Koni rear adjustment ?

Just turn the tab... not necessary to compress.

That's an interesting combo... Pics?Clifton wrote: I'm looking to adapt a short strut to an MR2 upright/ hub to use in a Lotus Europa. Fiero's have the shortest strut I have found so far.
I just remembered I have a set of shortened Konis. The Koni custom shop cut down the housings and the shafts each by an inch. You want?
Re: Koni rear adjustment ?
If it is a MacPherson style Strut the koni adjusts by a knob on top. it's only the traditional type shoks that need to be compressed and twisted to be adjusted.
