Selling my 3800SC project Fiero

Post by CincinnatiFiero »

After I think 10 years it's time to finally recognize I'll never finish this car and sell it on. I bought this car when I was 17 and did the 3800SC as a Senior Challenge project. I then drove it as an extra car for a couple years, took it apart to paint it, never got around to that... and 5 years later it still isn't painted.

Car is located in Columbus, Ohio 43224. The car does start, run, and drive. It has not been on the road in years so you should trailer it, but I do start it up and do laps of the parking lot every few months.

$1,500.

Engine and trans is an L67 3800SC and 4T65HD dropout package I bought from Ed Morad with 110,000 miles.

I maybe have put 5,000 miles on the car if that.

I am sure I will forget some of the silly things I spent money on but things I remember include:
Full Fierostore Stainless brake hard-line kit
Wills 11.25" Front Brake Upgrade
Grand Am Rear Brakes
KYB struts all around
Walbro 255lph pump
emc209i braided stainless fuel hoses to the blower
Poly bushings all the way around
New upper and lower front balljoints
Poly Subframe Bushings
Fiero-obsession shifter bracket
ECU/TCU reflash done by Darth Fiero
Some Valvebody spring/shim thing from the 3800pro days in the trans
Always ran Mobil1 in the engine
Blower got the oil changed, new yellow orings, blower gasket, etc when the swap was done
Iridium Plugs I bought from the dealership
Plug Wires
o2 sensor
rear wheel bearing
Enkei Wheels
I'm sure lots of other things.

The car is partially taken apart, I have the parts and they come with the car. I bought another parts car 2 years ago with aspirations of finally finishing this car, so lots of spares come from that parts car.

Downsides to the car:
Needs painted
Wiring and Mounts done by a 17 year old me, they work, but I was not the neatest (all the gauges work and the welding is solid)
Pretty sure the chassis has a rebuilt salvage title

Maybe part it out into a cleaner shell? I personally will NOT part the car out. The only thing I will do is entertain a couple hundred bucks less if you bring your own wheels.

$1,500

Haven't talked to you in forever Paul, I'll send you a PM. End of an era, sort of. The era ended long ago for me, trying to get down to just having grandpas 88GT in 100% condition and no more projects in the yard.
