88 cradle measurement help

Post by ericjon262 »

if someone with a manual installed in an 88 cradle could measure the distance from the cradle frame rails to the output of a five speed transmission (bonus points if it's an F23) I would appreciate it more than you could imagine.

pictures are for example of the measurement I'm looking for. both sides would be awesome.

My '88 has the front end up right now; I might get it back down next weekend.

My axle is still in so measureing from the esge of that axle seal wont happen.

However I measured from the flat surface next to the seal. I got 18.25 inches.

Thats where your 30 cm mark is at on your ruler. As I measured to the inside of the rail.

Awesome, I assume you measured at approximately the axle centerline height to the top of the inside of the rail?

I appreciate the help!
