Real Fiero Tech

Every couple years, the website or server colocation company refuses to give me a renewal rate for webhosting RFT that is not excessively over current market rates. They do this on the premise that it is a pain to move and certain companies may not tolerate temporary outages that can occur and will just pay the new fees vs canceling. Sometimes if I'm busy I just pay the fee and kick the can of moving down the road.

I expect sometime in the next week we will be moving to a new host if they do not want to play ball so if the site is down, that is why. If that is the case, don't worry, we'll be back online I will probably pause the site when I begin the process so people don't lose content posted.

I started the migration today.

The move to the new server is done. There are a couple things I need to tidy up, but if you see anything major, let me know.

Thanks for keeping the site up, I have no idea how much of a PITA it is, but I imagine it's not always a cake walk.
