$8200 and the reserve wasnt met. That would be a sweet ass engine for a Fiero.

I dunno, for that price you could install a N*. The SD is cool but unless your doing some heavy duty racing then its just not worth it IMO.

You could also build a turbo Ecotec for the same price as that motor would have gone for. Racing teams are getting well over 1000hp from ecotec's blocks, it is a pretty strong little engine.

400hp? on a 4 cylinder? without boost??? Does this thing spin to 20k, or what?

That's not unreasonable. For comparison, it's not difficult to get 800hp out of a small block Chevy race motor that only has 2 valves and spins to 8000+. That's twice the hp, twice the number of cylinders, and slightly less than twice the displacement.

Holy shit, this thing sold for $3350 the second time around. Somebody got a hell of a deal.

Yes, it's a 3.0 litre four cylinder.

That's only 133 HP/litre, which is small potatoes for race engines these days...

Don't let them decieve you, the SD's are pretty badass. My cylinder head flowed 280 CFM intake with a polish and some very minor porting. And that's only the 2 valve head.

I know of some drag racers running the KRP block and a Chevy head and putting 1100-1200hp to the ground on boost at 11000-12000 RPM.
Indy DOHC Turbo SD4.....someday.

It's back again. The last time it had no reserve. I bet he had a buddy put in a price to pad the bids. He and the buyer gave positive feedback, but it's for sale again?

I bet his reserve is above $8k
