I bought this car for $15,400 Canadian- I stole this car. It was originally listed at $17,900, dropped to $15,900 and I got him down to $15,400. Its the wrong time of year to sell a skyline. I pretty much got a $20k car for $15k. Awesome deal.
how difficult to import canadian car into america? i'd take that over a WRX anyday

I hear conflicting reports...

Some say all Skylines are illegal. Some say R33s are legal. (there are R33 owners on the canadian skyline owners board www.gtrcanada.com)

I would tell you to do your own research. Everyone had different ideas on what is and isnt allowed into the USA... Hell i even heard that ONLY vehicle registered in BC can be sent to the usa (in regards to skylines)

Maybe join gtrc can ask a few questions?

i could just get one of your guys to buy it - then sell it to me with the letter of sale stating its in peices to be assembled. and theni can pretend to assemble it and register as a kitcar :)

I've been at my parents place the last few days, my brother was also there. He goes by VR6in on this forum. He has an 03 GTi VR6, pretty sweet little hatchback.

We put our cars in the park and took a few pics.

His car is pretty quick, the skyline is slightly faster from a roll, but would blow away the VR6 from a dig.

My first mod will be a boost controller, I am only boosting 0.65 bar. I want to turn that up to .8 or .9 bar, lots of horsepower just sitting there.

Yeah, only 9psi but it still feels pretty quick.

I also tested out the gas mileage on the way to my parents place, I averaged 18mpg on the highway. Thats averaging 70-75mph the whole way with a couple WOT blasts around traffic.

Is that GTI the 24v VR6 or the 12v? I forget when they switched.

Sweet skyline by the way.

Its a 24v VR6. He also has a 12v, feels just about as quick because its in a lighter GTI.

Thanks.

Need to do some suspension tuning with your engine tuning, then. A well set up Fiero can accept a lot of power and have pretty stout off corner acceleration.
