Do you have rubber suspension or motor mounts? Maybe your engine is flying around...

Suspension is all poly. Cradle is solid mounted (88). Engine is mounted with 4 stiff rubber mounts (Dodge Truck mounts, Anchor p/n 2265), with a torque strut similar to a swaybar endlink (with poly bushings). There isn't any movement there as far as I can tell.

It's not simply movement that contributes to wheel hop... it's lack of damping; if your engine mount system can store energy and doesn't have much damping associated with it, then it might be contributing

I'd do the Konis before I got worried about that, though.

Well thats certainly a possibility then. I want the Konis anyway though so I'll get those first and then add another torque strut; maybe even a driveline damper of some sort.

As long as your engine's reasonably well mounted, it's probably not an issue. Bet you $1 the Konis fix it.
