First time at the track.......

I just stabbed the gas, didn't brake torque it. And I guess I kinda forgot to pay attention, because I shifted at about 4k on 1-2... But it's a starting point, and now that I know how it all works, I'll be less nervous and I should be able to shave some 10ths off...

No timeslip, sorry... I forgot to go to the timing shack... Total n00b mistake

At least you beat the pick-em-up truck.

13.74 @ 101... Is that a Camaro with a Fiero bodykit?

You should easily be able to knock half a second off that time at the same trap speed.

I have a timeslip you can borrow. It says 13.2 @ 102.

(My first time at the strip--had unplugged IAT)

Not getting the timeslip was partly my fault. A little tidbit I forgot to tell him before he ran.

It was a good solid run. I don't think he'll have a problem racing again to get a time slip..

according to drag racing analyzer, shifting at 4k for 1-2 will add 0.6sec to my time.... low 13's here I come :la:

I think you'll be able to hit 13.0's. Not sure you'll be able to get below that because of the extra 200# from that thing you call a transmission.

You mean the behemoth? The only transverse GM transmission that can take real power in stock form without exploding?

:thumbleft:

I'll be happy with a 13.3

Congrats man! :thumbleft: That was a really good run. You should had run with an STi tho. The one runing 14s, that whould be nice ;)

In the other hand I blew a weld of my exhaust and couldnt run :cussing: Damn Fiero is possesed by an evil spirit. But no fear, just pick the new frame today

The body is in good shape but the interior is all fuck up. They left a window half open and the interior have mold and stink like sh!t. :puke: The engine looks like crap too. But what I need is all perfect. Aparently there is no rust and no frame damage.

Now I need to find a place to do the work. :sad2:
