Just got a phone call from my buddy with a built up 3800SC Fiero GT. Indy Hoosier Performance, the company that has done most of the work on his car, took his car from Indiana to a track in KY along with a 3800 Turbo monte carlo. The Fiero ended up smoking a Viper running a 10.90 on the first run. Thats with street tires and pump gas. On the 2nd run they snapped a axle, which IHP is replacing for him free along with some other parts for letting them be the first ones to take the car to the track. The turbo 3800 monte carlo's best run was a 10.93. Hopfully I'll be able to post the time slip tonight. The main mods I know that he is running besides the highly built up engine is Water/Meth along with NOS...not sure if they used the NOS on the run or not. I'll post a update when I am able to post the time slip.

Cool keep us posted.

However we all know a V8Archie built and swapped SBC in a Fiero could easily beat that time. Just look at his install video!!!!

Way faster then the Aldino. I think the aldino only did a best of around 11.5ish

You guys have to remember that those body kits, including the Aldino one, add weight to the Fiero. They usually weight more than the stock body panels so they are a handycap instead of an aid when it comes to making the car go faster.

One thing the Aldino also does is add a LOT of fender space for wider tires.

It doesn't add THAT much weight, though. I can see 50# TOPS... it takes a lot more than that to make the difference between 10.90 and 11.50.

Just got off the phone with Bobby, the owner of the car. He hasn't made it down to the shop yet to pick up his car or time slip yet. The car is going to be in the shop for another week becuase he's having a MP12SC put on it. He did say the car trapped at 121MPH.
NOS was not used on the 10.9 run, he ended up taking the NOS kit off and traded it for a 3.4pushrod supercharger. Long story, but the SC for the 3.4 project is off a phototype car from GM. Only problem with putting it on is it hits the distribuiter, so he has to convert to coil packs.

damn so 10.9 is now the time to beat... think i'll need to do internal work to the 3.4dohc before i can beat that and still drive home.
