Orlando drag day #2?

Post by S8n »

A guy at work was talking big stuff about his PT cruiser Limited. I told him that my pickup (GMC sierra crewcab) could probably outrun him. So we are heading to the track next friday evening to settle it. Anyone else is welcome to come hang out or run their cars. This gives anyone a weeks notice. Let me know who's game.

I might be able to make it.

question though. Why not just do a quick run on the street?

Years ago, I would, but since my job depends on my driver's license, I tend not to anymore. This also depends on me feeling somewhat decent and the weather being ok.

I guess any excuse to go to the track is a good one.
I wouldn't even think of racing a PT Cruiser unless there was $$$$
involved. Modded or not I have always thought they were a POS. :puke:

On another note not to hijack but is anyone going to Bradenton this weekend for the streetmachine Nationals.

I don't get out of work until 6, so I was thinking either meeting somewhere around 7-7:30 or meeting at the track around 7:30-8. Suggestions?

Sorry for the delay. I did not make it out to the track, I also didn't know if they were running or not (I'd assume so, since the weather isn't bad). The guy with the PT gave me a chicken shit excuse at 5 ish this evening, even after I put $50 on the line. Oh well, I tried. I'll leave it to someone else to plan the next one.

Figured as much. Probably good though, because the track probably would have been slick
