Timing diagrams for a DIS v6? 3.1L, 2.8L

Working with the 1227730 ecm $a1 mask, does anybody know where the "Spark reference angle = 60" comes from? Does the v6 DIS ignition module put out a pulse 60 degrees before TDC or something?

60 degrees BTDC is way too much

32- 36 is where it should be at.

I dont' know what the 60 means
