Junction Box (newbie question)

Post by Hollywood »

Man this sounds wild but any tips on getting the bolt off that keeps the junction box on? I've tried a 6.5mm to big, 6mm to small. 3/16 to small... Needle nose pliers wont budge it... What is it with this thing?

The C500? If this is what you mean, the two connectors with all the wires coming out, it is held on by a single 1/4" bolt.

if you mean the junction box by the battery, then it is once again a 1/4" socket to remove it. But if you reffering to the unti that passed through the firewall, a big plastic clip retains it in there from the cabin side - removal of the center console is in your future
