I'm not really sure if this would be the right place to put this, but it seam to make sense to me.

What do you use to fabricate body panels? (interior and exterior). I've heard of people using carbon fiber for the interior (then painting it). But I wasn't sure if that would be advisable to use on the exterior too.

You can use carbon fiber, I'm not sure why you would paint it on the interior though. Why not just use fiberglass? With any kind of fabrication skill at all your panels will be light enough.

I personally don't like the look of carbon fiber. How difficult is fiber glass to shape? About the same as CB?

carbon fiber isn't that fun to work with.

fiberglass is really easy to work with if you use glass mat or a loser woven fabric.

kevlar lays real nice but you have to have special scissors to cut it. normal scissors will chew it to hell trying to cut through it.
