Finally got some daytime pictures. I also met the head of the Corvette program today as well as some VP from Toyota and another guy who headed up the old ZR1 Vette. Showed them my car and everything. Pretty cool experience. Anyway, here are the pictures.

Thanks for the compliments guys. As for the nav, yeah it's really nice having it. Granted, my area has some streets missing but an updated disc would probably take care of that. Also, it's not as visually attractive as many aftermarket systems, but still looks decent.
I hope to dyno it within the next couple of weeks before I throw the headers and cats on (which shipped on Friday along with all the other goodies).

Anyone have the link to the site that you can search for dynos by zip code?
Also, any opinions on Jet Hot? Thinking about getting the headers coated before I put them on. I like the idea of keeping underhood temps down.

Also, installed the rear strut tower brace the weekend before last. I'll admit there's a big difference in the apprehension levels between ripping apart a Fiero and a car that cost 10 times as much. I ended up taking out the whole rear seat and half the trunk interior pieces.Unsafe At Any Speed wrote:Anyone have the link to the site that you can search for dynos by zip code?

Even though it's embarrasing, I'll admit it. I flipped/rolled (due to some black ice or something in CA) it at excess highway speeds. So we'll have to wait and see if it's repairable or totaled.

Funny thing is that there's not even a scratch on the roof of the car. One window broke but you can tell thats only because it hit a rock or something. I can upload some crappy cell phone pics.

I debated actually posting these, but here ya go...
This is obviously what got it the worse. Metal bumpers that were visible underneath looked undamaged. Couldn't open the hood, but the engine looks strait. Obviously its hard to know the extent of the damage until its all of though.
The driver's side rear window is broke. You can see (not in this crappy picture, but in person) an impact point where it looks like a rock or something hit and broke it.
This rear quarter is pretty crinkled up.
Rear fascia is broken up some here.
And a couple more...

Yeah, I'm hoping that it turns out to be fixable. If not, I'm going to have to start looking for another one. In the meantime, I'm rollin' in the Impala rental. :thumbleft:

Funny things happen when you carry enough kinetic energy into a situation...
It's good that you're ok. That's the most important part of any accident. Metal can be fixed.

Yeah, I'm guessing I just straight up flipped it. I went to look at it again today and checked the g-meter. I didn't even peak it to either side, so it must not have been 'too' intense.
As for injuries, I did manage to jam my thumb somehow (might be broke I guess but it doesn't hurt that bad).

Well, I just found out earlier today that it's totalled. Now I just have to wait and see how much I'll get for it.
And the search for another begins...
