I'm supposed to depart here the 1st, but then I go on three back to back TDYs until about the end of August.

So it's now been exactly 6 months since I've driven or even seen my car (close to a year for the Jeep). While driving uparmored SUVs in crazy traffic is fun and all, I miss them. Anyway, I don't think I've posted these pictures in this thread:

And the absolute most recent pic...

That is a sexy V. I think I prefer the 1st gen over the 2nd gen for looks.

Thanks, man.

A couple adapted V2 aspects would be cool, though, I think.

This guy adapted a V2 lower grill to his car:

There's also possibilty of a V2 style hood on the horizon.

I expect the V handles better.

Welcome back!

I guess that post might not've been clear. I've still got awhile here. I won't be back until next year. Which means more money for car parts upon return. :-D

That flat black CTS-V looks terrible, but I like yours a lot.

Good luck out there!! :good:

I was thinking 6 months was a little short, per our previous conversations, but figured you got some R&R leave or similar.

I think that flat black job may just be something he can keep up with as temporary as he continues to do other stuff to the car. Not sure though.

Yeah, no RnR for 310 day deployment which is lame. I'm working on an extension which would qualify me though.
