It was a 24 hour adventure to drive down to Milwaukee, WI to get it and come back basically non-stop:

It is using a 3.4L v6 from a 1995 Camaro with around 50K miles on the engine, the paint is at best a 7 out of 10 but needs to be redone.

The interior is in great shape, and the engine runs strong and I have a bunch of mods planned for it.

Eventually I would like to turbocharge the engine that it has, but that won't happen for a little while.

The mods list:
*Mr. Mikes Leather seats
*Custom polished Stainless Steel trim pieces with matching steering wheel
*Fiero Store Glove Box
*Mr. Mikes Leather sunvisors
*Flushmount headlights
*Quarter Panel Scoops
*AT Italia 17x7" wheels with new tires (wheels have around 200 miles on them!)
*Leather with Fiero logo spare tire cover
*Gas hood prop struts
*Gas decklid prop strut
*New Optima Redtop Battery
*Fierostore poly dogbone mount
*Underdrive Pulley
*1.5" Lowering Springs front and back
*New Monroe shocks and struts front and back
*Leather Mirror bras
*Supposedly the engine has an upgraded "stage 2" cam - whatever that means
*DM bored throttle body
*MSD 6al Ignition Box
*MSD blaster coil
*Ceramic coated FOCOA headers

That's all I think, but by next week I hope to have the dual throttle body "Enterprise" that I bought from Shaun on the car.

I'd also like to swap out the front and rear bumpers to '85 GT bumpers.

I also have a mustang scoop for the decklid to put on it also hopefully by next weekend and get the decklid painted.

The car has A/C, cruise control, PW, PL, sunroof, power trunk, and a decent stereo, the best part - EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT! The only option that it is missing that I want is the factory subwoofer setup for it.

Here's a couple other pics:

I have since removed the "PONTIAC" decal from the windshield - :puke:

The frame is in gorgeous shape, and it has all original paint/body panels. Perfect car to start my next project!!

feel like pulling a valve cover off and measuring the insides vs. the stock fiero ones? people with massive rockers would like to know if this will clear :afrocool:

edit: nice ride, just throw an imsa spoiler on the back and call it a day

It will be wingless, the IMSA is cool, but not for me.

I may be able to measure it for you. I would like to know myself. I can't tell if they are any bigger. Too bad I sold my old 2.8L valve covers.

Also I should note that this winter I will be installing the Falconer heads that I got from Will. :thumbleft:

Damn I was going to say it needs an imsa wing too.

If you can find a cheap shop to get 1 run in for a baseline I say go for it. Then see what it does afterwards to see what sort of gains the ehads and intake make. If you can of course.

there is a dyno shop about 2 hours away from here so it might happen:
$100 for 3 pulls, and $60/hr after that.

Thanks for the comments. This car used to belong to "Haze Performance" on Old Europe and was called "Hiosilver". He sold it early this year to a kit in WI and he moved to Washington to be in the army and the car has pretty much just sat for 6 months. There are a few little issues, but nothing major. Been driving the car every day since I bought it. :)

Nice score :thumbleft: I don't dig the wheels , and I agree that it needs a spoiler or a wing... Might fill in after you add the rear vent though. Nice Fiero though, looks like it's received it's share of love.

Worked on it a lot today, but wasn't able to finish due to a crappy cradle bolt. The head is stripped pretty bad:

Exhaust manifold studs and FOCOA ceramic coated headers:

New intake manifold:

Holley adjustable fuel pressure regulator:

Next is to finish the headers and intake manifold, but I need to get the cradle bolt off to do the rear manifold. Then it's the underdrive pulley, MSD 6al box, poly cradle bushings, and new engine strut motor mount.

After that I'm not 100% sure what's next... Probably just a fuel rail gauge and some more g-tech runs.

This thing is ugly, and I'm not sure there is an easy way to make it pretty...

Image

After un-criss crossing spark plug wires and fuel injector harnesses it fired right up and idles at around 1,200 rpm. I assume I can knock it down a little with throttle body cable positioning.

Here is my cable bracket:
Image

I had to modify it to fit the new throttle body cable. So now it has 4 cables running off of it.

-Throttle cable
-New Throttle Body cable
-Cruise Control Servo
-Automatic Tranny Kickdown Cable

It wasn't that bad actually, all I really had to do was make a hole in the original bracket:

5? you don't prefill the filter?

I prefill the filter, then add 4.5 which is 5. AFter running for a few seconds it reads at the full mark. I fiigure while driving there is a good quart in the top end of the motor.

Well, it is the 3.4L and I read that it was just a little bit more than 5 quarts... maybe my info was wrong. but it seems to have worked out well.
