Just Bought a bran new '05 SRT-4

Post by GmetalGT »

Thats right! Bran new, 13 mile, 2005 black on black SRT-4 Loaded with Sunroof, In Dash 6 disk changer, and Kicker 10" sub and amp in trunk. I just got back home and it is dark so I will get pictures tomorrow. I had went to Miami to get new furniture, and as I was driving by the dealership it was up on a rack calling me. So I turned around and went back and bought it.

The car is amazing. I am so happy with it. It hauls ASS and sounds aewsome doing it!

Just thought I'd let you all know.

Nice purchase my freind.

mid 13's bone stock with right around 240 whp and a factory LSD

Can't beat the skittle.

Now that neon is something that I def want to run.

I would love to race my freindss modded 03 but he sold it before I got my nitrous hooked back up. He now has a 01 SS I think. No chance in hell can I take that. I would still try him though for fun.
FieroPhrek working on that ls4 swap for 18 years and counting now. 18 years!!!!! LOL

530 whp is greater than 312

I love the car man. I liked them before, but now I love it. You have been in them before, so you will understand. When you crank it up and here that exhaust not, you can tell that it's no ordinary car. When siting in it you feal ast though your in a racer, and the handling and braking is great as well. It's one hell of a starting point.

Throw a stage 2 with toys on it and you will want to sell the 4.9 fiero :thumbleft:

Its sad, I go to the SRT-4 forum all the time and some are running low 12s with a stock turbo... makes me want to get out of fiero's all together...

I have a few vids of SRT-4s with stage 1 maxing out their 160mph spedo very quickly. Nice car dude, I want a black one as well.

Cars like that are awesome, but they come so rarely.
GN's, SyTy's...
1G AWD DSM's can crack 11's on the stock turbo.

My friend holds the 2G stock turbo record with a 13.1.

Thanks for the links everyone. This car is so fun to drive. I am going to put my old wheels back on the fiero and put the ones that are on the fiero on the neon. I do want to mod it. The first thing I want to get is a BOV and lower it.

I have just been driving a round hopeing to get the chance to lay the smack down on someone, but havent had the chance yet.

I got some pictures yesterday but most have a glare. I will post the couple that dont in a bit.

The 03s are bad for torque steer, they didn't have an LSD. 04 and 05s come with an LSD and torque steer is mostly gone.

I drove a SRT-4 one time and was much more impressed with the handling than the acceleration. I scared the salesman (he was in the backseat) because I almost missed a turn and ended up nailing the brakes and diving into the turn pretty hard -- almost autocross style. You should go out and autocross it; I bet you would have an absolute blast!

Stock SRT4 on a racetrack. Looks like a pretty flat cornering car for stock suspension.

Havnt been on any forums. I moved into a new house and changed jobs. All for the better. Took a week and a half off and chilled. I'm back though. Now I need to see what I've missed.
