Re: Fiero Formula in BSP
If the rules allow for it, you should install solid rod ends in the lateral links instead of polyurethane. See: http://realfierotech.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2573 If you decide to use polyurethane you should retighten the long cross bolt after every race day. It will keep working itself lo...

I want to clean it up and get it powercoated and also install poly bushings in all the suspension components in the rear. Also I am looking to get a bit more power out of the 2.8. Re: 3500/LX9 Build Thread
Thanks! I will check it out. Right now I'm at the point where I think I am going to go to the junkyard to get another lx9. our local one has one for 175 and see if I can get it in the car and run it on low boost. I drove this car 90% the way home before the head gasket gave out.

Re: Fiero Formula in BSP
well that big box of parts is kinda full of poly suspension stuff lol, if there is anything else i need i will shoot you a pm. Again, check the rule book regarding rod end lateral links. Urethane in the lateral links is a waste of time compared to rod ends. I know these are not legal for Street Pre...

Does anyone know if those tie rods will work for an 88? I don't see any part number or I would look myself.

Re: Fiero Formula in BSP
could you post a link to the hold down strap? I havent ever seen anything about that. Rebuild kits occasionally pop up on eBay. You can use an NVG T550 kit if you have another source for the input shaft front bearing... Such as http://rodneydickman.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=28&products_...

Re: Fiero Formula in BSP
Well, I ordered a bunch of parts and just got them in. I have decided to pull the trans out. The second and third synco are gone. I am going to get it rebuilt somewhere local here hopefully. while having the engine and stuff out I'll replace the itchy ass insulation. I cant stand that stuff. I will ...

Re: Fiero Formula in BSP
I don't think i saw the poly trans mount.... I will double check. I will make sure to check for cracks, I work in a steel fabrication shop so I shouldn't have any problem fixing them up. Are you talking about the zero lash end links? I have those on the front. You think they would be good for the re...

Re: Fiero Formula in BSP
I am doing a custom cold air that runs all the way out to the vent in the side of the car. I don't really want to put anything back in the car that is not needed, so if i can put a small breather filter on it i probably will do so, instead of routing the line back into the intake. Also, wouldn't tha...

Re: Fiero Formula in BSP
Question, on my 2.8 there is a breather tube from the valve cover to the intake. (Not the pcv one) its on the cab side of the car not the trunk. What I'm wondering is if I can Put one of the oil breather filters on it or just plug it. Does it has be routed to the vaccum lines? http://i1095.photobuck...
