Re: Just finished this one (Benz content)

Waiting to hear back from Paul on this one. The W115 used double wishbone front and trailing arm rear. Nothing fancy.

Re: Just finished this one (Benz content)

Ok, so the seats have to be built back up. How does the suspension feel? Was it good in it's day or was the technology back then on par with American classics (clunky and heavy)? I've got a thing for 70's Benz's, but I want to know if its worth putting the time and effort into one to get the ride ba...

Re: I don't have that Series8217 money but...

Yes, tint is a pain in the neck! Getting tint off of a defroster without pulling the defroster legs up isn't easy. The interior looks great. Maybe some carpet and it'll look brand new. Did you ever get the paint fixed?

Overall, you've done a great service to that car.

Looks great!

1. Is that your barn?
2. Wear clean pants when sitting on those seats.

Looks great Will! 519 pounds, wow! Looks like its very rewarding to open. Is the final piece with the "advertising" on it a top seal? I can see sunlight coming over the top of the roll when the door is closed. If its not a seal, do you have any plans to airtight the top of the assembly usi...

I think he was referring to the fact the diesel gels at those temps and the engine would need a block heater. I know he was. I was reading a post by someone last night who said their Mercedes diesel would always start without problems in the -30* cold when the fuel should be theoretically "fro...

Classy ride. A torque'y economical daily driver with boost, good man.

Do you like the Melanite Black Pearl or Flint Gray colors on the E? Can't go wrong with black but they're a pain in the ass to keep clean.

Re: new guy 1st fiero

You'd only lose value if the car still had original paint and 12k miles. The only factory color I find interesting is the red metallic, but maybe you like one of them. Id whole heartedly suggest finding a color from a paint book. Dont keep the car if youre looking for something to make money with. F...

Lol, fuck off Snyder.

If they made a larger vehicle I'd buy it. Newer generation has several more inches rear leg room, but loses the Bangle rear.

In love with the car.
