Once I get back into CO I'll check the fluid, then just get a new slave if that doesn't fix it. It honestly feels like the slave, not the clutch itself.

It isn't a big deal, that 2.8l needs to go anyways.

Re: Can my life suck any more? Clutch problems

Well I lost the clutch. It feels very springy and loose, and doesn't start to engage until its almost to the floor. Before then just springy. The car would not shift when stopped, and it was very rough when driving, I had to match the rpms. Hey Aaron, are you sure that there's still fluid in the cl...

Ok the clutch feels the same today as it did last night.

The fluid level is a tad low, but nothing to be worried about. There are 2 min marks, it is right above the top one.

I am going to check it out some more in a few minutes.

Stimpy thanks for the life saving advice of having sex with someone uglier than me. But that won't make me feel any better, I'll see her by chance a week later and will jump off a bridge thinking "I slept with THAT?" I'm feeling better today, dunno why. I can't wait to be in Cali, I love i...

Really depressed.

I don't know why, but I'm feeling really depressed right now and I don't know why. I have had problems with it in the past, but as time goes on, it has gotten a lot better. It has never been very serious, I never seriously contemplated hurting myself, but it is enough to make me feel bad and down. M...

Can my life suck any more? Clutch problems

Tonight me and some buddies went out cruising in the Fiero, there were like 3 cars out (only 2 people in the Fiero tho). Well when I was all of the ways down the local strip, the car started acting up, about 15 miles from home. It was running normal, I had actually been really nice to it, considerin...

And you need to get pictures of the headers, either on or off the car, built or not built :thumbleft:

Re: 88 Headlihgt motor broken

Well for the first time my headlight motor went, it is the passenger side on my 88GT. Wow, what a coincidence. The passenger side headlight motor on my Formula just went out a week ago. I had repaired the driver's side motors on both cars, so your driver's side motor should last a while. Anyway, fo...

I am cheap, but I spend the moeny right on things like that. Trust me, no Fiero of mine is having gluesticks in the headlight motors.

So I don't need to replace any gaskets? I have the money, time, and can figure it out, I'd like to replace any gasket I'll be taking apart if there are any.

Whatever you do, don't try to replace the motor gaskets. If you take that cover off you will have a hell of a time getting the motor brushes back in. Just take the side covers off, clean out the rotten dowels, regrease the gears, put in the new dowels from Rodney, and reassemble with new gaskets. T...

88 Headlihgt motor broken

Well for the first time my headlight motor went, it is the passenger side on my 88GT. When Doug sold me the car he told me that they are extremely easy to rebuild. So could someone run me through it? Some pics would be great! I'd ask over at the better Fiero Forum, but I am afraid of getting banned-...

How does a heated O2 sensor work? Is it just heated by IGN switched power or does the ECM have to tell it to heat? The High compression was a thaught from examining the exterior of an assembled 4point9 that I once had in my possesion. Oh and yes you did call me that. maybe not directly to me only b...

I really need to see pics of the headers! Good job, and I applaud your honesty about the 4..9, every other dude just swears by it, and you see its potential, but know that it isn't great from the factory :salute: With all of your work, 13s should be easy. The headders are not done/on the car yet. I...

Ah I just don't like being called a "Stupid Fuck" I personally like the 4point9 for their ease of installation and deceent power over the duke that they replace. Any ability to add power to it is an acomplishment in it's self. Not to mention how well the Allante intake dresses the motor u...
