For these purposes the 700 is probably close enough to your 710s.

yep those runs were on the bottle. However on this graph the peak hp number was 110. That's your peak hp number with the Starship Enterprise intake? That seems low. I've dynoed some stock Fiero 2.8s and they've been around 115 hp peak. I assume this number was affected by your out of balance tires? ...

The piston goes up the hole 0.16" further and then down the hole 0.16" further, for a total travel of 0.32" further.

hitting a 3" step at 120? That's offroad racing shit. Yep. I'm interested in how you're going to build to a certain strength? Are you going to test the mount outside the car or just make a WAG about what material thickness, etc to use? FEA softare? I haven't exactly figured that out yet. Proba...

Fiero 2.8 on an engine dyno

Anybody ever done it? The stock Fiero harness is fairly self contained. The only thing I can think of that you'd need that's not in the engine harness is the VSS to gauge cluster to ECM wiring. Anything obvious I'm forgetting? I haven't looked at the wiring diagrams yet. I need to do some ECM tuning...

What is the use of the car? 8) I will ask my friend that did modeling of forces for tubmounts on the formula car Thanks Howard. I figured you'd have ideas on this. people were designing spring mounts and other chassis bits to approx. 6 Gs. But if the spring and shock were coaxial, the loads would d...

Real tech question - suspension mount load approximation

If this forum is going to be more than a bunch of people jerking off in public because it's the first chance they've had (not that there's anything wrong with that) then it needs some real tech stuff. So here it is. Let's say I'm designing a suspension mount. This will be the upper mount (fixed to t...
