I dont know if theres a kit made. But a guy came into work once to use our dyno. He had a 318ti (the little hatchback) with a turboed M3 motor in it. I think he put down around 400hp.Aaron wrote:Is there even a turbo kit made for the M3? I want to see it, I bet that'd be a FUN car to drive!!!

Help me find this song.
I'm trying to find this rap song that I heard once on the radio in Philly and I'm having no luck. I'm not totally sure on the lyrics which makes an internet search kind of tough, but it goes something like: "I wanna make a porno starring us. Well, not just us, also these two foreign bitches.&qu...

Props on the Fahrenheit. They're pretty sweet. If you chip that thing you will love it. I chipped a bunch of them at work and no one has anything bad to say. And with those mods it should be awesome. So you know, the 2.0T uses some kind of electronic diverter valve and there isn't an upgrade availab...

It's my birthday and other interesting tidbits
So I turned 19 today. That's fun I guess. Unfortunatly 19 isn't one of those cool birthdays like 16, 18, and 21. I got a new car. A while ago actually but I hadn't gotten around to posting. I picked up an 04 VW GTI 1.8T. I like it. Here's a picture from a while ago. http://img.photobucket.com/albums...

You may have done it already, I don't feel like reading the rest of the thread. But did you try unplugging the tach filter? I know it won't show a tach reading when cranking when it's bad and if it is bad, it won't start. I'm not sure if it would cause an intermittent problem like you have tho. Just...

Finished it yesterday. Runs good. The idle is much more solid now than it used to be. I cleaned up the wires around the battery/water pump/c500 area and it looks pretty good. Now I just have to fix my brakes. Anyone know why it would make a hissing noise (almost like air escaping) when I hit the bra...

You obviously aren't taking our advice. Actually, I didnt answer the phone so I couldnt. I was at work trying to work on an order for Peloquin Diffs and I was on the other phone trying to order in wheel bolts when my phone rings. I didnt answer it but later I called the number back and it was Comca...

Checked out Ogre's Cave and hes got a thing about sizing fusible links. Now the wire I am going to use is 8ga. So by his sizing chart (use a link 4 sizes smaller) I would want a 12ga, correct? Problem is, I cant find 12ga. Only 14ga and 16ga. Would a 14 work? The factory wire is (I think) a 10ga, so...

No time to work on it Saturday, so I'll be working on it Sunday. Question though. The wire from the alt stud to the junction block, I want to replace it. Does that wire have fusible links? If yes, where would I get replacements, or, could I somehow splice the one from the original cable into the new...
