Hahahaha Actually I did just finish smoking a really huge bowl and down a few glasses of Rye and Coke so I apologize if I was confusing. After and during my intoxification I was reading a couple of magazines. One article was referring to a person who now works on WRX's having a pushrod past. By this...

So many people down with the pushrods

Ahh, its too bad the ricers of the world can't see past the short hoods of their fart canned civics to realize how the automotive industry was built. They look down on those with pushrod engines as if it is the worlds worst engine design. Now I will be the first to admit that the DOHC's have definet...

Must be nice having the skills and the equipment to do things like this. For me, most of my skills are focused around the work I do, but with consulting you spend so much time talking a planning things, that actually getting down and doing them is a whole different ball game. Your project has given ...

Now if I ended up using Carbon Fibre, would it also work?

How much did your material cost? I am still unsure of what I am going to use.

I am kinda doing the same thing as you, but I am using SM insulation rather than the spray foam. It forms pretty well with the dremel on low speeds, but I think I will need to cover it in something to make it perfect. Are you going to smooth yours out with something or just apply your material on th...

So what would you guys suggest for a dual runner system? What for long and what for short?

If you were to build a short runner intake with overall streetability in mind what would you build the runners to?

I would like to run long (16 inches total) runners for the low end rpm and then short (less than 6 inches) fat runners for the top end rpm. What makes you pick those numbers? For reference, TPI runners are ~26" from plenum to valve and TPI peak torque is about 3000 RPM. LT1 runners are VERY sh...

I like to do things to the max of my ability, and you are most likely correct and I will give up. But I will try and fail first, thats just my style.

I have seen them in places like JC Whitney, and large machine shops will do them, but for small projects like this?

No luck looking in Ontario
