I had the same issue. It was the T/O BEARING SLEEVE & SEAL. The part that the TO bearing rides on broke off. It sucks cause you have to split the case to replace it.

I had a problem with coil bind when I was using the civic coilovers. I started with one of the kits off ebay that came with 400 lb 8 in springs. They were mounted on the spring perch. I am glad this topic came up. I am about to put new konis in the rear. Can anyone tell me the outer diameter of the koni struts so I can get the closest fitting sleeves. Thanks.

Look at where that center bar is. If you got hit in the drivers side your head would go right into that bar, and without a helmet you would probably die. If you are thinking about a roll cage make the car a true racecar and not a street car.

I am taking the exam tomorrrow also. Luckily being a PE isnt all that imortant unless you want to design. If I was a civil eng I might be worried about it.

I am a senior at the Univeristy of Missouri in Rolla in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in manufacturing. I am graduating in a little over 3 weeks. I will go out in Industry for a few years and then get my masters. But I am not sure what area yet.
