Why would you swap in a V8 if you want gas mileage? :ROFL: If you're doing it for the 'best of both worlds' then yeah, leave your LS4 stock with its slushbox. Get your poor V8/4 gas mileage with your mediocre powerband, and your ability to roast rubber all day to impress all the sexah redneck ladies...

Nice car, GLWS. I'm glad these are becoming more popular swaps. With mods to make more power up high (and, so, less torque down low), they'd make an even more awesome Fiero engine.
