the ball pivot is fine, it's just the (round stock) on the other end. Since there seems to be a lack of fieros in northern canada (wonder why?) I'll take a look in the junkyard for some other 4cyl GM cars transaxles. I probably should find a FWD getrag and just convert it if i cant find this part i ...

Well, the cables are properly adjusted now, but the cable bracket that controls left and right movement of the shifter is worn considerably. The pivot that is suppost to be round that moves the plunger in and out of the transmission is ovaltine, which seems to be allowing 1" play of left and ri...

isuzu shift cable adustment...

I have an 87 2.5 5spd isuzu tranny and was wondering if someone knows the proper adjustment of the shifter cables on the tranny side. My problem is when i'm down shifting it's almost impossible to shift into 1st (and 2nd) unless i've come to a complete stop, and sometimes i have to push very hard wh...
