Don't think you can get around undoing at least half of the side skirt so you can unclip the quarter panel from it.

I rebuilt the ones on my Fiero, the only difficult part was getting the rubber boot back on around the piston.

Downside was none of the actual mechanicals got replaced with the rebuild kit.

Well, can hook a battery up to it just to see if it turns, probably put a pressure gauge on it as well if you want to be that specific.

Shouldn't run it long without fuel in it either way.

Until I got the dodgerunner tensioner, what I was planning on doing was replacing the small bolt in the alternator with an Eye bolt. I fixed mine with DodgeRunner's pulley tensioner, not sure if he's still making them though.
