The difference in ECU design between the 80s and at least mid 90s is minimal. The Fiero ECU does just about everything that my 1993 3.4 DOHC ECU does, certainly everything I'd need it to. And even through 95 still used the same ECU design, just using upgraded engine components and sensors. Just bec...

It was actually a 5 year service award for the company I work for. It's a Cannon PowerShot SX100 IS. Not a great camera, nowhere near as nice as your SLR but it is much nicer than my HP and Samsung cameras. I looked at the specs, it's a nice camera for it's price range, and 10X optical Zoom, more t...

The short block is a GM crate motor, Edelbrock just fixes the long block, to make it not suckass like his. I have a GM crate engine as well. It didn't cost 7 grand. And with the 6 I saved, I guarantee you I can make more power, get better mileage, have a far easier swap, hold my transmission in one...

NSX would be my first choice. I've always liked the GT-R so that would be my second, and an FD is third only because of the reliability issues that come with it... I've Loved RX-7's all my life and would potentially like to own one as a secondary sports car. Personally, I'd rather have a Dodge Viper...

I was asked to join this thread and share my opinion, since I own one, I guess it's warranted. :thumbleft: The SS/SC is an interesting car that produces mixed feelings, with crappy GM build quality and an engine to die for. I dynoed the car stock at 213hp and 197lb Ft of Torque 2 years ago, and it's...

Tomorrow I will spend some time with the car and see if I can't figure it out. Just bought a new multimeter, my last one broke so I can test to see if the injectors are getting a signal. If there is a signal there then it must be the injectors them selves. Here's to hoping for the easy fix. It does...

Was a fun day, although it sucks about the results though. At least like you said there's a new base tune to go off of. I wonder though if the BS3 is what is giving all issue, Wideband not working and all. Let me know what you find out. I have Pictures if Levi doesn't mind that I post them. They tur...

For Sale: 1986 Fiero GT

Hey Guys, Looking at selling my 1986 Fiero GT, 4 Speed Manual. Car Runs well, fires up every time, and I drove it for about a month just before the snow hit. Shifts smoothly for a 22 year old muncie 4 speed. She is in need of bodywork/paint and some general TLC, would make a nice candidate for an en...

I'm not too concerned with the "best" out there, just the best for my application... I want to do a little bit of drag racing, a little bit of autocrossing, and a lot of cruising. I just want to add to the good traction the fiero has, one wheel burnouts aren't of interest to me. :thumbleft:

So what do you have planned for it? What year and mileage and stuff, I dont see it listed on your posts. the car is an 86 SE originally a 4 spd 2.8L, currently has 330,000 on the chassis, not sure what the 3.1 had when it was swapped in, but I imagine it was just a replacement for the 2.8 that was ...
