Also consider that the Solstice uses two arms on the rear instead of the one+strut that the Fiero has. Much easier to deal with bump-steer design that way.

So who's going to adapt a 'Vette leaf to the rear of the Fiero? Do it right and need no swaybar!

It controls airflow... What do I win?! Vacuum system. You've got two lines but you'll never see the other one until you start thinking like a vacuum tech (which I happen to be.) The port(s) you can see in the picture and your engine's intake constitutes what would be the Ground connections in an ele...

The Dark Side of Will wrote:Each throttle has an independent idle adjustment screw.
Yes, but don't you want to be able to fine-tune where they begin to open relative to one another? From my understanding of the rig you don't want the first opening to 5 degrees before the second starts to move...

How much force can those things take? The return spring on the throttle isn't monstrous, but it isn't exactly a slouch, either... If it's strong enough, it'd probably work well, if you can build a frame for it to stop it from flexing... :thumbleft: Enough force to quickly accelerate/decelerate my ~...

One thing I've never seen implemented on these setups is a link rod using small universal or CV joints. Is there a good reason for this? They're not that expensive in the size we're talking about and are readily available at RC racing shops...

That's a function of the frequency. The higher your frequency the farther from the wire's core the electrons travel. In other words, a copper pipe will have as much current carrying capacity as a solid copper wire of the same diameter when operating at high frequency. DC uses the whole cross section...

Stupidly simple fixes FTW!!! All my worries were caused by the caliper-end flare nut coming loose. No rubbing on the cables, no other leakage. Repositioned cable, tightened the hell out of it, and bled the lines. Test drive revealed braking on par with previous! Where do I get good pads for an '88? ...

I'm just wondering, do you have the parking brake hooked up? If you don't the rear brakes may be out of adjustment and causing the symptoms you are noticing. E-brake works fine. I even did the manual adjustment (piston pry and screw cycle) when I replaced the flex lines. I hope it's not a hard line...
