If price was no object, which import would you buy and why?

That's a hard one with money being no object. I guess it would depend on what I wanted the car for. I did JUST buy a DSM but would rather have other cars on the list... I'll have to think about it more before voting.

I've thought bout selling my gtr and fiero for an RX-7. Been more into auto x lately and having a small light weight car is an advantage. I voted RX-7.

Price no object, and the Lotus Elise/Exige didn't even make the list?

That's my vote. It'll whip any of those stock.

Restricted to Japanese imports. What most people think of then you say Import. BMW, Lotus, Ferrari, lambo etc don't apply.

I voted FD3. It's a little heavier than the 240Z, but has a much more advanced chassis.

If I had long road courses I would choose the GTR hands down, that's what it was built for. Its a fast track car.

Edited, tried to put the Miata and NSX on there, just thought of them but that is supposidly too many poll options.

NSX would be my first choice. I've always liked the GT-R so that would be my second, and an FD is third only because of the reliability issues that come with it... I've Loved RX-7's all my life and would potentially like to own one as a secondary sports car.

Personally, I'd rather have a Dodge Viper, Delorean DMC-12, or a Northstar Fiero... But we are talking Japanese Vehicles aren't we?

I'd pick the GTR. Daily driveable, inline 6, turbocharged.. hey its a Volvo with race suspension and an import body ;-)

Evo, had a VIII GSR and want to go back. We'll see how the 3800SC stacks up, if its slower I'll sell it and get back into imports.

Cost no object, Japanese import... Definitely an NSX. That is one sexy car.

Out of the options given, however, the Supra gets my vote. It's also a slick car, but the engine's in the wrong end.

I can't believe you're calling the EVO a tubby bitch. My wife has a high mileage base model lancer and it's still pretty fun to drive, for a 4 door sedan (she drives it like it's a stock car). I've never driven an Evo, but I can only imagine what 150 more horse and 4 wheel drive would do to that car.

350Z hands down for me. I've been in love with them ever since they came out.

Don't worry thats probably next. Something simple, GSXR600 probably, we'll see. Ohio in the winter and spring isn't the place for a bike.
