The terrorists won-Dad is selling the Corvette...
And he bought a Prius.
He came by in his Corvette on a last dance road trip up Highway 1 and told me about his new car over lunch Sunday. I asked him if it had come with the Obama bumper sticker or the Clinton one. He said it had a Gore sticker.
I told him it was previously owned.
To go from a Corvette to a Prius, something inside has to die to allow that to happen, though. A little sad.
But if anyone is interested in making offers on a low mileage 97 C5 Auto Silver with red/black interior, it is available for less then $20,000. Holla.

My Fiero is now a Finale. The end.

Ultimate suck. He should go with the stick, don't they get like ~27 MPG on the freeway? If it makes him feel better, I know somebody who works at a Ford dealership that can get a stack of PZEV badges (I may put one on my boat). Every vehicle is a partial zero emissions vehicle - when turned off!stimpy wrote:And he bought a Prius.

That's what we were thinking when you went from a clean 3800 SC Fiero to a PT Cruiser.stimpy wrote: To go from a Corvette to a Prius, something inside has to die to allow that to happen, though. A little sad.

A guy at work just traded in a 96 LT4 Vette (~ 120K. Driven like a grandma car. Had only had one clutch and two sets of brake pads replaced) for a...
Civic.
I knew that he was looking to sell. I told him that I'd *at least* give him what they offered him in trade. He said "I'll let you know."
Of course, he did it over Christmas, when I was on vacation. "I came by, but you weren't here."
So what did they give him for this meticulously maintained LT4 vette (that he believed needed a tranny?)
$5K. :cussing:
Good luck to your dad, Stimp. Sorry that he's been indoctrinated by the OwlGores.

that sux. I had a dry spell longer than I will ever admit before I met my wife. Been together 3 1/2 years now and I still get some 3 or 4 nights a week. :afrocool:
been noticing how cheap mid 90's v8 cars have become.....just around the corner there's a super clean 98 deville with >100k on it for $3495, at a used car lot no less. sign of the times.
