1994 Northstar for sale

I found a guy that sold me the MEFI unlocked so I can tune it. He also sold me all the connectors, and pointed me to a guy that has a cable and the software to tune it.

When I first saw you started your build I called CHRFAB to see what they had because I had a 2000 northstar at the time. They told me about the MEFI but they said it wasnt tuneable, so they stopped carrying it.

That's what I was told about the MEFI when I was looking at engine management for my swap. I don't remember who else I talked to, but it wasn't just CHRF that told me...

Huh?? It's a GM ECM.. You just download the program and open it with a definition in TunerPro, like anything else..

I know it is now, but there were several companies I was dealing with that would somehow lock the ecm so it wasnt tuneable, and then try to sell you their own brand of software for an outrageous price.

Try arizona speed and marine. They tried to get me out the door at darn near 1800.oo dollars. Still less that crzyone, but way too much for the MEFI. with my software package, USB tuning cable, MEFI, and ALL connectors and pins for the motor and the MEFI, and a prewired fuse block for fuel pump, two fans and another couple accessories, I was out the dorr at just over a grand.
