Snow fun!

Post by 84fierotrevor »

was headed to pay my sprint bill and sliding around everywhere since my jeep is stuck in 2wd and my tires are so bald there slick i had to counter steer every corner so we got the idea to go film snow drifting the S turn in the jeep by my friends house we where snow drifting in his atv yesterday

I was keeping it sliding thru the whole S turn but my friend didn't do a good job of recording it standing at one end instead of the middle.

video quality sucks but the drifting in snow is cool. I always liked drifting when I lived up north as it taught me how to better control my car when in a situation where the rear would come lose.

On a controlled environment its fun to do and teaches the brain something too.
FieroPhrek working on that ls4 swap for 18 years and counting now. 18 years!!!!! LOL

BEWARE OF BEN PHELPS. YOU HAVE VEEN WARNED. WORSE THAN MILZY IMO

Isn't that how everyone drives in the winter?

I hardly ever run my truck in 4x4 so it's always dorifto time!

Doing it with the CTS is pretty fun as well.

I dunno but the snow keeps coming and getting deeper, with my bald tires i could barley make it up some of these hills. i really wish I could use my 4x4 right now.

I 360'd my Fiero into a telephone pole during a snow storm. It was my fault for dicking around. It hit on the dr8ivers front fender, and snapped the steering rack in half. I managed to drive out of the snow and get it home about 6 miles away, steering it it was like having a powersteering pump full of wet concrete.

I wasn't.

I've also banged into things from dicking around. AMC Eagles are tougher than Fieros.

Drifting is fun. Doing 15 in a 50 to stay on the road to get to work while some asshole in a expedition has his headlights IN my rear window is not.

If it would actually snow here I'd try to get my car together to go play a bit but its bone dry, just 8 degrees.

Last time I did that I put mine into a ditch...;p ( winterbeater fiero ).

I was fucking around on a dead end sandsealed road drifting all over the place and I was thinking " Hmm, this road seems alot wider than usual"

Yup, sure enough when the guy plowing it with a grader musta had the wing plow way out there plowing it level with the road and on a big slide I got hung up on the edge with the right side in the ditch and the left rear wheel hanging in the air. Fun times! I shoulda kept that car.

Ya thats a problem for a fiero in deep snow if it isn't powder. Once the snow gets deep and starts to pack the fiero just rides up on top of it and you loose tire contact to the road, never fun.
