I got pulled over again yesterday, the day before yesterday I went to oregon and I paid the dmv 75 dollars to reinstate my drivers license, they said I was good to go so I left and got tabs back in washington, well yesterday I went out and a cop got behind me and stayed there, I was like well Im legit now so no worried.
Then his lights light up and I pull over thinking wtf did I do wrong, when he gets to the window he asks me if I have valid ID.
I'm thinking to myself why did he ask that instead of for my license, I pull out my license and as soon as he see's my name he asks me to step out of the car, I do and he puts me in cuffs and reads me my rights saying I am being placed under arrest for driving on a suspended license,
thats when I start telling him my license isn't suspended and that i had a court date the next day 2 hours away in kelso washington I had to be too.
I couldn't rememeber if my recipt from the oregon dmv was still in my car or not so I asked him to look in my car for it, he searched my car, but apperently he wasn't looking for the recipt because when I finaly got back to my car I had my seat chusions popped out of place and other shit yanked out, but my recipt for the dmv was on the floor of the back seat still.
he said he didn't find anything, I wasn't ready to be falsly locked up yet so I told him my friends would drive down here and bring proof I had got my license reinstated.
after 40 mintues of waiting for my friend and him and I talking while I waited cuffed up in the back of his police car he turned out to be a pretty nice guy. we went thru all my records and he was showing me everything they had documented on me so I could make sure another unpaid ticket didn't resuspend my license again. he told me a few stories about people he had busted trying to steal catylitic convertors when I asked if people really where doing that these days, etc. etc.
my friend showed up to help finaly but he brought the wrong thing, it was a old letter confirming my license was suspended. not my recipt from the day before showing I paid it.
he talks to my friends, comes back to squad car and tells me my friend brought the wrong stuff, I got the words "that dumb fuck" out of my mouth when he was like, Let me finish.
He said since I was honest with him, I didn't have a criminal history and he had talked to me and seen i wasn't out and up to no good that he was going to let me go scott free, not even a ticket, but that my friend had to drive me away because he had to go by his computer and that said my license says invalid. so to go figure it out with the dmv.
Hurray for nice cops.. I have been so lucky so far this is the 4th time I have been placed under arresst and the cops end up being friendly, and after a chat in the back of there squad car I get to go free.

That's the oldest trick in the book, give the cop a hummer in the back of the car and walk free. I'd rather pay the ticket. :bootyshake:

No, I was sitting in the back of the cop car going thru the stuff the dude had on me so we could see if there was another reason my license was suspended.
But anyways, I went to the dmv yesterday and they said for some reason oregon had forgot to send notification to Washington state DOL that my license was valid again so I had to pay Washington a 75 dollar reinstatement fee but now my license is for sure fixed and legit.

Or run for office and change it.
If you aren't going to do anything to fix it, then quit bitching.
