Winter Wonderland!

Post by CincinnatiFiero »

Its been snowing for two days so I decided to snap some pics and post them up. I have been driving around towing cars out with the wrangler but I stopped at the office to post a few pics.

The 84, moved it outside preparing for my move... mistake

My street

These bushes are usually way taller than my cars but the ice is pushing them down so much, a bunch of trees are falling in the back yard from the weight of the ice
Image
It iced really bad last night

Driving around, I know some of the more northern members are less than impressed but I think for ohio this is a little un-real

Back on Dec. 19, 2008 we got 3/4" of ice from a storm. 100,000+ people in the county I live in lost power; most were out for 2+ days and some were out for 6+ days (most of these were in the city). During that time the temps dropped below 0 at night and were only in the single digits or teens during the day. We only lost power for 3 hours but we have a working wood fireplace and a generator at our disposal. 3 of the trees on my property suffered major damage and I have already cut 2 of them down; the 3rd will have to wait until summer. Most of the other trees on my property lost limbs but for the most part it wasn't bad. The county never issued a ban on road travel.

Here are some pics from our ice damage...

At least this latest storm only dumped snow (6.5") and not ice on us! Good luck!

I live pretty close to Cryzone, and have seen plenty of snow, but still think that ice looks pretty brutal

Damn. I've gotten almost a couple feet of snow in the last couple weeks, but nothing that nasty.
