I didn't take any since it was such an easy swap. It took all of 5 minutes dude, and swaps right over. Even you could do it.

Wow. You know how to use [size] tags. Impressive.
Re: streering wheel.. turn signal... swap...
That has, after many years of research, been proven as the best way to ask a favor from someone who doesn't particularly like you, has very little interest in helping you, and in no way shape or form will benefit from helping you. Isn't there some quote about bees and honey?lowlux wrote:ARRHH! TAKE SOME NOW! I WANT TO SEE THE DAMN THING ON THE CAR!

With an attitude like that, it's hard enough to make me not want to do it.

The bolt holes and the mounting configuration appear to be the same as mine, I say go for that one! It's a bit more rounded than mine is.

Re: streering wheel.. turn signal... swap...
Funny thread, I was recently thinking how much the turn signal mechanism in this car sucks.
Re: streering wheel.. turn signal... swap...
It's pretty much all GMs too, our Camaro has the exact same piece. They haven't changed them in over 20 years!

Re: streering wheel.. turn signal... swap...
I thought the column was a TRW design built in Saginaw, MI. It's used in AMC's and a whole lot of other things from the '70's through the '90's.
Re: streering wheel.. turn signal... swap...
I took my turn signal stalk off of my garden tractor.

ROFL...
Jeep's used the same ones in the 80's too. Maybe even early 90's, whenever Chrysler bought them...
