Do you think this is excessive?

[rant] One of the major reasons my swap has been to delayed is because I don't have shifter cables, a shifter and a slave for my new getrag. I bought a set off of MattM from Old Europe 5 or 6 months ago and they have not been shipped yet.

I've had a few people like Derangedsheep contact him in person but still no parts.

A few of the PMs that are in my inbox.

I always heard about people ripping other people off on Old Europe, well from now on I'll only buy stuff with credit card. Sending a money order is just like sending cash, there is no repercussion if they do not deliver on time.

I expected him to send my parts within a week of recieving my money, this is getting rediculous... [/rant]

At least you have the option of still calling his ass out. Shop-rat45 sold me a piece of shit remote door lock kit that apparently is famous for frying itself if you ever disconnect the battery. It lasted 6 months before it cooked itself. When I emailed him about it, he basically told me to go pound sand up my ass because I was just some worthless RFT trash. Funny, my money was worth something last December...

What the fuck. I'll have to yell at him again. I might actually be going to his place this weekend to get a new toy (I'll make a thread whenever I get it). If I go (even if I don't) I'll try to find out what's going on.

Thanks man. I'd even pay you to pull the parts yourself. This is getting rediculous.

Shifter cables, shifter and slave are all pretty easy parts to pull. I don't know what his holdup is. Not like he has to drop the drivetrain to pull the parts.

I'm sorry. I ended up getting a lot of school stuff to do and I didn't get a chance. I will let you know when I have time and talk to him.

Thanks, last I heard from him was Nov 22 saying "you'll have a tracking number by Monday"

Well that was over 3 weeks ago.

A bit excessive.....

Argh....

Still no matt and still no parts. He had an "I'm back" thread, managed to get 1 e-mail from him to confirm my shipping address and then... nothing...

Derangedsheep, any truth in what he is saying about problems and declaring bankrupcy?

I am sympathetic to people with problems, but he should have sent the parts 5 months ago when he recieved the payment I sent him.

Another month and I'll have to start looking for more parts... :banghead:

I honestly don't know. Sorry. I do know that he has been having a lot of computer trouble lately. However, I have known Matt for over 2 years and I don't think Matt would lie about something like that. But you are right, that isn't really an excuse after so much time.
