Do you think the line size makes any difference?

The lines are just reversed. there is no change in the lines. they just plug into the MC reversed. thats the only change

The reason I used the MC is because it was matched from the factory to the calipers, well closer than the Blazer or Fiero one anyways..

The SS brake lines arrived from Summit today, they look pretty nice. Can't take a pic of them for a week or so due to no digital camera.
I also got a surprise in the mail, a $46 brokerage fee from UPS for the rotors.. That can now be tacked onto the "Sucks to be Canadian" dollar fogure.
Amazing.. $70 for shipping, $12 COD and $46 brokerage fee.... Thanks UPS!!

Hey crz1, how much the 12" rotor weight?
Im curious, im doing some research in rotor weight. Just trying to see what is the advantage of 2 piece rotors if worth or is just hype for rich kids.
Thanx

They are probibly alittle more than double the stock rotor weight. Crossdrilling helps slightly but not much.
Adds to the rotational mass and unsprung weight, but its a good tradeoff for not experiencing brake fade with high hp engines.

Problem is that when I ship USPS, the item only actually arrives half the time. The other half, well, USPS has no record of ever getting it...

It seems to only happen when I ship, or people ship things to me. I think it because the USPS is racist. Yah, that's it.

Can you give me actual lbs??
Im trying to get a better picture of using 2 piece rotos for the rear or not. I want to take as many pounds as possible in a reasonable budget in the rotating assembly. Oddly I will end using 19 wheels. So far the lightest on budget are 19x10 and weight 26lbs. Or use 17 wich can be in the range of 16~19 in 10 in wide config.

Here is the rear before and after showing what needs to be ground off to clear all the new brake parts.

There is a 82 corvette MC bolted to a 84 Fiero with no modification except swapping the front line to the rear of the MC and vis versa
Newbe question, here - What is the reason for using this style of master cylinder? Can a newer style be used? Maybe from a full size SUV? I am getting my list together, to do this swap. Great write up!
Thanks,
Don Z.

Sorry DreX, been at work. I'll grab a few rotors and hop on the scale soon.
