didn't you get yours repainted after the hood vent? I saw a pic from the top of your hood and the paint looked much better.Series8217 wrote:I think Will's wins for most ghetto appearance! Mismatched ?!? That's just brake dust.Series8217 wrote: I think Will's wins for most ghetto appearance! I can't even beat that! He's got the mismatched rims and bad paint plus missing body parts!
Actually the wheels are incredibly well matched considering the fronts a 16x6 with 5x100 pattern from Chrysler LeBaron and the rears are 16x8 with 5x115 pattern from a Grand Prix!
Multi-color appearance and missing GFX & door trim are the result of some stupid chick on her cell phone pulling out in front of me and bouncing me into a dude in a Mazda.
I came by the fade and oxidation honestly, though.
Be sure to note the phatty rear tires and the line of sight that almost squeezes under the inside front.
Doesn't have to look pretty to run 12's.
Edited to fix pics:
My black 88GT. 112k on factory 2.8l, Getrag 5-speed, factory leather seats. Was going to get a 3.4 DOHC, but now I'm thinking a N* for next summer.
My maroon 88GT. 111k, swapped 3.4 DOHC, Getrag 5-speed, and a sunroof. I am just now finishing the swap.

Nah, probably just trick lighting. I'm not even keeping this hood, its practically scrap plastic in the bad shape its in. It was given to me for experimentation (i.e. the hood scoop). I have a decent hood I'm recreating the scoop on before I paint the car this summer.product1620 wrote:didn't you get yours repainted after the hood vent? Yeah, the only way I noticed is because around the lug nut area the front rims have holes between the lug nuts while the rears are flat. Pretty cool that you can get a great width stagger with factory 16" rims, I couldn't even find any in the aftermarket! The Dark Side of Will wrote:Mismatched ?!? That's just brake dust.

What's your plan for paint? Seems like now would be a good time with the motor out since you can paint the engine bay and whatnot.

Mine:
The engine:
Interior:
Extra gauges in the car: Oil press, Oil Temp, Voltage, Fuel Press, A/F (going wideband soon), Nitrous Pressure.
I've redone everything except the paint on this car since I've owned it. Well, the hood was repainted. The car has 72K miles on it now, had 27k when I got it in 00! Was a 4 cyl auto too.
