What the hell. It takes a month to get a date with the dyno? It couldnt' be done sooner? I have had to wait a few days before but damn a month?

Off spray I say 165/240

230/360 on spray. Hard to say since its not a tuned jet setup.

It's a Club Dyno day. 2 pulls for $50. It's also Ppicture day for Pinks :) In case you weren't aware I'm going to be on pinks with a car club I belong to :)

I wish, but we have to many good drivers for me to drive it. Were doing a domestic vs imports build off, then race, then winner donates proceeds from sale of both cars to chairty. Since it was my idea, I'll be part of the build / pit crew.

I wish i could spill the beans more, or point you to the build off threads. it's funny the import guys are all talking paint etc. While were talking 500 Shot an praying for it to last 3 races.

I doubt they will do wideband. I don't see them welding Bung's for $50.

Dude tailpipe sniffer. Its pointless if you dont' have a wideband hooked up.

So lets say no wideband, and you run the juice, you could be super rich but wouldnt' know it. Or be super lean and wouldnt' know it. So you would have no info on what to do with your nitrous or fuel jets.

Ouch, I for one would never run NOS without installing a WBO2 unit. Throw the laptop in the car and get real time data. Having the A/F info in front of you is a great insurance policy. Might save your motor a premature death too.

Yeah I know. I have been thinking about buying a wideband setup. just to many other things get in the way.

I highly doubt they don't do wideband, most if not all dynoes do. They just stick a rod up your hole and start sniffin. And this info is critical if you are running nitrous, as so many people blow their motors because of improper fueling.

Everyone thinks nitrous blows motors, this is entirely untrue. When properly installed and running, it can actually be pretty relaible. But people hook it up and never tune it, that's when they blow holes through pistons.

that or they run nitrous in a shot that is too large for the engine to handle - or start it at too low an rpm increasing cylinder pressures beyond capacity
