2.5L Pushrods

Post by wolken »

Did the length of the pushrods change from 84 to 86? I just installed an 86 head on my 84 block head and they click really bad so I would guess yes. Anyone have any information on that?

Thanks

I beleive they are the same because I don't think they went to a roller cam untill 87 year.

Did you even bother to check to see if the lengths were the same when you swapped the heads?

I didnt have the rods from the other head so that wasnt an option. I just assume that they were different because you dont adjust the lash on those valves.

They changed to a roller cam in mid 85, or early 85.
