So they say fiero owners are cheap. Does that mean they're broke? Or just thrifty?

Cast your vote and we'll tally the results :p

Stocks/bonds don't count. Anything you have to sell doesn't count. Cash is king

I'll start.... I have 4k.. my fiero isn't touching any of it... thieving whore she is. :3some:

You should put a $0/No Bank Account option on there ;-)

Who in their right mind doesn't have a fucking bank account? Are you asking to get ripped off or something?

edit: Let me clarify. I carry no cash. If I have three dollar bills in my wallet, I go down to the ATM and shove them into it. Cash in a wallet is just asking to cater to bums and thieves. Plus, with a bank account you can pay with plastic instead of fumbling with coins... and you get rewards. :thumbleft:

Keeping money in a bank account is wasting it... unless you're getting money-market rate or better.

Quite frankly, I'm shocked that people would be so ignorant. I've always wondered how many people would actually continue to use cash in this day and age of plastic and electronics... now it seems it's not as far off as I once thought.

It's all about security and convenience. You get ripped off at a store in cash, you bend over and take it up the ass. You get ripped off at a store with plastic, you get it all back. Plus, you get rewards just for spending it.

Almost all stores jack up their prices to pay for credit card transaction fees. If you pay in cash, you're just handing them that money for free. If you pay in plastic, you're getting a service in return - convenience.

Cash also doesn't have online banking. :thumbleft:

I have 1 years salary worth in the bank. I have a lot more in my 401k plan and investments that I can liquefy pretty quickly if need be.
My Fiero is just my hobby car. I have over $20,000 sunk into it so far and it still is pretty stock. http://www.diyfiero.com/forum/garage.ph ... cle&CID=42

I'm still waiting on my first full paycheck at the new job as well as the first full rent check from my house and the pension payout from my previous job. So we're at about $50 in the bank for the next week. = p

Still crossing fingers that the checks will start arriving SOON!

Dude I would reconsider. Those are not guns for the newbies. Hard to clean, sight, maintain, etc. It's a lot of coin and Springfield's quality as of late hasn't been stellar.

Your financial situation is none of my business.... But seriously, you're in no position to be giving financial advice. :fart:

the -1300 isn't the credit cards fault - infact its probably the reason you can still eat and pay for gas to go to job interviews with no income (you are looking for income right?)

the credit card is a very powerful tool that can easily be abused - by the user, or the company supplier.

In the $5-10k category if you don't count debt.
