Motor for Brakes?!!

Post by Hollywood »

Hey guys and gals. After replacing the pick up coil, distributor cap and rotor, intake manifold gaskets, spark plugs and wires, and replacing the old throttle body with a shiny new one :thumbleft: then paying the shop 40 bucks to get the timing done on my 2.8l, guess what? Its about that time to put in my 3.4l haha. A lot of people would say working on my 2.8 was pointless but to me it was a great experience and i learned a ton of valuable info. Im looking to trade my engine with 97k miles on it and a great tune up for some front and rear brake components. Im looking for driver and passenger side front caliper, rotor, and pads, and rear rotor and pads. If you have some components but not all and are interested let me know. Reasonable cash offers welcomed as well. :3some:

Aren't you doing a 3.4 pushrod? You know you'll need a lot of 2.8 components for the 3.4 swap, right?

You had to pay 40$ to have your timing done at a shop and now you are installing your own 3.?

Nevermind, the 3.4 DOHC doesn't use any 2.8 parts.

I'd also grab the fuel lines, and the coolant hoses.

I'll buy you a burger and some potato wedges if you want. But I don't want your motor.
