If pushrod I woudl give WCF a call.
Do you want to run it like stock? Or would you want to run true duels and fab up a whole new exh system?

Re: WANTED: 3.4l conversion headers
Its a DOHC and I DONT want to run the vehicle stock. I'd like performance headers. The local exhaust shop is doing my exhaust though. They have done every one of my vehicles and im very pleased every time!Shaun41178(2) wrote:Pushrod or DOHC motor?Hollywood wrote:I just got my 3.4 liter in and if anyone can point me in the right direction... Thanks :afrocool:Hollywood wrote: Im so jealous :bootyshake: Where on earth can i get those for my conversion?!!!
Those are the equal length turbo headers on my 3.4 DOHC Fiero. I built them myself in my garage, then had them ceramic coated. 1.75 X 20" primaries, dual 2.5" collectors and Y-pipe, and a 3" downpipe.
I would be able to make you a set for your car. They'd be much like those above, except with a few key differences since your car is stock, and normally aspirated. 3/8" CNC laser cut flanges, Tuned equal length mandrel bent primaries, Smooth machine-formed 6" long 3-1 collectors, Mandrel bent Y-pipe, V-band connections, Professional ceramic coating (Black or silver), and all new hardware (12 studs/nuts). I can choose your primary dimensions, or you can come up with your own and I will use those.
If you're close to Colorado, it'd be nice to build them on your car so I can guarantee they will fit perfect. However if you aren't, I do have 2 DOHC Fieros to build them on, and they should fit your's without a problem. I can make them either exit to the back of the car, for a short exhaust system, or wrap around the underneath of the engine like a stock Fiero does, for a longer/quieter exhaust. I would not be able to build them until mid-May, and they'd take me about 2-weeks to a month to do. As far as price goes, you'll be looking at between $1000-$1200. If you are interested, PM me and we can discuss farther. This also extends to anybody.
You asked this in a PM, I'll answer it here in case anyone else is interested. I can do them without the ceramic coating, and you'll save $200 that way, though I highly advise against it. This is mild steel, and will rust if it isn't coated. And although my shop is dry, and Colorado is dry by nature, once on your car and exposed to the elements, it is only a matter of time.

Well the welds won't win a beauty pageant, but they penetrate well, don't leak, don't interrupt flow, and are plenty strong. Function before form. These just happen to look good as well.THE PUNISHER wrote:Welded enough that I can spot thost shit from space...
Nice deisng though... where did you get the pipes?
Thanks, the design is the hardest part. I get my pipes from www.stahlheaders.com , they are the cheapest I've found so far. Great quality bends, quick turnaround, and superb service.

It is of course not feasible to truly tune them to each motor, but I will tailor make each set to each engine, so the primary dimensions will not be randomly chosen or chosen for ease of production. For a stock N/A motor, I'd probably go with a 1 5/8" by 34" primary.crzyone wrote:That is a good price for custom made ceramic coated headers. If only they were tuned to the engine. Still better than the factory logs.

both sets are nice, and as much as I hate to say this, I think aarons would be better for a NA setup. The reason being the primarys length and directions. See how his dont go away from the collector then return back, also it looks like he used larger radii bends which is better for flow. BUT I think the Collector setup is key and he loses some there, except for the fact that he is FI.
MrSleeves look fantastic, and look like they would be alot more durable with a turbo bolted to them, and easier to work around.
all in all the best flowing looks to be arrons, and for a high revving dohc turbo thats what you need.
I run sprints on a 2.8 so who cares what I say.
