Sounds like a hell of a plan! I'll just run that by my wife.... lol
When these tires wear out Naturally, I will most likely put 275/35s on all 4 corners. Nice that these rims are good for it. The 255s on it currently are slightly stretched so I have lots of room to go bigger.
I like the goldish bronze color they are not but I might eventually powercoat them black.

45s would be too tall. The sidewall will be taller with a 275 tire anyways.
Not sure how big the stock rotors are, slightly smaller in diameter than my corvette brakes but the rotors are thick with curved cooling fins inside of them. My car also has functional brake ducts going from the bottom 2 scoops on my front bumper to behind the rotors. Stock brakes are sufficient but its an easy upgrade to put on R33 or R34 Brembo rotors and calipers.

There are a few http://www.edgeracing.com/tires/2753518/
When its time, I will buy the Falken Azenis Rt615s. I don't put a lot of miles on my GTR so they should last a season or 2. Very well priced for the performance.

Thanks :thumbleft:
I weighed my car on the local truck scale today, 1480kg or about 3250lbs. Its lighter than I thought it would be, I figured arouns 3400lbs with all the AWD and AWS stuff. I even had the spare tire in there.
I could easily shave a couple hundred pounds off my car by removing the AC, spare tire and aws, but those things are nice to have.

The Stealth and GTO have an awd and aws system as well but those cars weigh over 3800lbs. Not sure where the extra weight is because my car is fully loaded as well.
My stock hood and fenders are aluminum and I have an iron block engine... I guess they lightened up the car where they could for group A racing.
Last night was the first time I drove my car with the AWD fuse pulled. It was actually more controlable than I thought it would be. I had a lot of traction in 1st gear amazingly, I thought it would be all over the road under boost. I could still make it step out when I wanted to though, easy enough to make this a weekend drift car if I really wanted to. I like my bumpers and fenders the way they are though.

Reminds me of that $600 lugnut RSX thread from a while back.

Yeah. I tried to find the thread but it's been taken down. They were titanium or something. But anyway, yours look good.
