yup 2 wire sensor near the one wire temp sensor on the upper right of the lower intake manifold.

It's just a bimetal switch, IIRC.

Supposing that the Cold Start Injector is stuck open at least partially, unplugging it would not solve the problem (unless the switch is fubar'd or something), so how would one go about stopping the leaky injector? Just replace it with a new one? Seems easier than trying to rig up some kind of plug for both the LIM and the Fuel Rail.

pull the injector line from the rail and put in a plug. Leave the injector in the manifold as the lower plug. Both threads are NPT I believe.

Good call. I'll have to see if I can find a plug the right size. Don't really feel like pulling the rail off and taking it to the store with me.

pull the line off the rail and the cold start and take that to the store

thanx. and actually, with the intermediate fitting that's between the line and the rail, you have double the chances of finding something that will work, cause you could either plug the rail or cap the adapter.
