There some off brand seats I picked up for $180-$200 for the pair on ebay. I've seen the same seats with APC stiched into them too (mine have nothing). There OK. I want to get some nicer cloth racing seats sometime but these work ok for now. They hold you in a lot better than the factory seats did.Series8217 wrote:I thought I saw aftermarket seats! What are those? How do you like them?Fast88Fiero wrote:Added, mostly crappy pix too.Series8217 wrote:Fast88, how about some interior pics? Looks like there's some goodies hiding in there.

I have the stock brakes in mine for now, I plan to do the Corvette conversion at some later date. Here a picture of my "stock" engine and a close up of one of my wheels. As for my wheels, they are 17" Moda r6s.

I wonder what Aaron's engine compartment looks like. Isn't his car supposed to be the nicest one out there?(just busting your balls Aaron)

The front wheels have a LOT of offset, which is why they have the more "three dimensional" profile... it also helps cure the Fiero's large scrub radius and heavy steering... Don't know how much offset, haven't bothered to measure and haven't found the spec.Series8217 wrote:Yeah, the only way I noticed is because around the lug nut area the front rims have holes between the lug nuts while the rears are flat. Pretty cool that you can get a great width stagger with factory 16" rims, I couldn't even find any in the aftermarket!
What's your plan for paint? Seems like now would be a good time with the motor out since you can paint the engine bay and whatnot.
The engine bay will get the gloss black POR-15 treatment before I put the engine back in.
For the body paint I'm considering different options... deep metallic blue with silver pearl, black with silver pearl, silver with blue pearl (although that might be a little gimmicky). That won't happen until I'm mostly done wrenching on it, though. I've also got some alphabet soup to pay for before I can blow 2-3K on body work.
My engine bay will never look good so long as it has that excuse for an enigne in back. I honestly will not clean it. I refuse to. Fuck that engine for all it's worth, I hate it. The dirtier it is, the better, it gives me some excuse for why it's so fucking slow.
Fast88, I know you've heard it all before, but I wish every 4.9l swap looked that good. Damn. Clean, no wires, cables, etc, and looks strong with the Alante, red wires, etc. It also looks to some extent stock. Great job! As for your car, I could do without the sawzall hood scoop and the black racing stripes, but I'm diggin the black wheels!

Wouldn't want to actually do any work that would take away from your time shitting on everyone else's car, huh?Aaron wrote:My engine bay will never look good so long as it has that excuse for an enigne in back.
