Really? As much as I am pro-gun rights, do you realy think criminals consider jeopardy? I think more guns out there would make criminlas plan their crimes better, but it wouldn't deter crime. As we know, deterrence theory is for Republican pundit to advocate their BS.
deterance works for most because most are criminals of opportunity and desperation.
for the well planned and thought out criminals they would work around it or find a way to use it. it would deter them from some crimes and make them more dangerous at others.
