Is anyone going to be at the 25th Anniversary show??
Like the topic says. Is anyone from RFT going to the 25th? I know I am going to be there. I live in the Metro Detroit area so I really don't have a reason not to.
I would hope that we could get a decent group of RFT's to represent. I also know of a place in Ferndale that charges $700 for a group dyno day (12 car max). If I could get at least 8 committed I'd try to set it up for the Friday before the show.

If my car is reliable up to that point I might make a drive down. We'll see.
If my fiero isn't up to it, maybe a cruise in the GTR would be fun too.
its in PONTIAC, michigan. I dont think nay other state in the union has a city named "pontiac". Pontiac was a Michigan indian tribe. hence, the arrowhead insignia. :thumbleft:
Production of the 1984 model year of the Fiero began in august of 1983. And the 20th was five years ago. It was in the summer of '03.The Dark Side of Will wrote:2008 - 25 = 1983.
??
Wasn't the 20th only 4 years ago?

I have a standing invite from Tim Petersen to stop in when I am in Michigan. Maybee I could get him to put together all the stuff he has on the turbo fiero cars, and bring it. He did start the Heritage center.....

Why does it have to be in Pontiac Michigan exactly? Why not have it in Italy? I'm sure we can find a town named Fiero over there.Pyrthian wrote:lolcrzyone wrote:Would be nice if it was a more central location.

That would be pretty cool. Like motor specs and turbo specs and if the car was ever dynoed or ran the qtr. I think that would be cool to know.p8ntman442 wrote:I have a standing invite from Tim Petersen to stop in when I am in Michigan. Also any pictures that haven't been published anywhere would be cool too.

Re: Is anyone going to be at the 25th Anniversary show??
Missed this part, if my 3800SC car is running (read: I could afford the motor) by then I would definately be down for that if that means a set of pulls is like $60. Also I just ordered my RFT license plate frame, so I will represent with a car (may be 2.8L :thumbleft: )God wrote: I would hope that we could get a decent group of RFT's to represent. swapping in a 7730 & DIS on my 3.1, need info for Sinister to make a chip & wanna see what my gutted intake does - anywaone wanna swap stock intakes while we are there for on the spot info? (just upper plenum)
for the 20th - the friday before the show was a track day. I'll do track day before I do dyno - I can dyno anytime - but a road course full of Fieros is a rare thing.

Well, Tim is not responding to emails anymore, wether they are hitting his junk folder, hes ignoring me, or changed his email..... I cant say. I will try another letter to his house the old fashioned way. He says he has lots of stuff to show me, so I'm trying to get a free ride out there for some professional development hours at the same time. This year is just so busy. 2nd kid, wedding and Trying to buy a new house all before 2009. If I can get Tim to commit I will be there, if not, its just another old fart get together thats not worth the cash.
